Weather and climate information is critical for decision-making for individuals and businesses. Government and international agencies across the world have spent billions of dollars in building infrastructure to observe and forecast weather and climate. Large investments are also being made in the climate change, adaptation and mitigation sectors. A robust private enterprise in the sectors has also emerged across the world to support, leverage, and synergise with government investments. Private enterprise in weather and climate is at a nascent state in India. This workshop will bring together startups in weather and climate sector along with representatives from academia, government, funders and other stakeholders for a day of sharing, learning, and networking at IIT Delhi.
